{ Emma Taylor's Photo Shoot }

Emma Taylor got it in her mind that she wanted to schedule a "photo shoot" with Granna.  Not sure why, but she loves having her picture taken, so we just went with it!  She wanted to try a few places in particular throughout town that we've used before and we tried a few new places too.  It's picture overload for sure, so fair warning!  :)

We've taken pictures on the train tracks before, so this is a spot she knew she wanted to go again.

Next we headed to the Farmers Market

You can't see much of Emma Taylor, but I love this Coke ad painted on the building downtown.

We've taken pictures in this alley before too.  Cute spot, but really stinky.  Ha!

I look at these pictures and am amazed at how much she's grown this year.  She will be as tall as I am before long and already wears the same size shoe!  Time slow down!

{ Back to Class }

How can I have a 7th grader and a 4th grader?  Believe it or not, these two are headed back to school today.  They were both pretty excited about getting back to school so they could see their friends every day.  I'm happy that we'll be back to a routine.

 Cameron joined in on the picture taking fun too!

All three of the kids had a great first day at school. So thankful for our schools!

{ Camp Lake Stephens }

These two cuties were excited about their week at Camp Lake Stephens.

Harrison went to CLS last year, but this was Emma Taylor's first year at this particular camp.  She got moved in and settled with Sarah and the rest of her cabin mates.
 Emma Taylor, Sarah and their counselor, Ashley.
This was her cabin.
 After we got her settled in, we headed down to Harrison's cabin at the other end of the camp.  He got a top bunk, so he was pretty pumped about that.  Getting the sheets on was super easy too.  :)
 Here's Harrison with his friend, Quinn, the rest of his cabin mates and his counselor, Q.
Don't those boys look like they're ready for some fun?!

The camp takes tons of pictures throughout the week and I borrowed a few from the website for this blog post.

Here's Emma Taylor with her friends.

And Harrison with his new friends.

I'm so happy they both had a wonderful week at camp.  Sounds like they'll be happy to go again next year.

{ Emma Taylor is 12! }

My girl is officially 12 years old today.  It's so hard to believe this is the last year of her tweens and that next year she'll be a teenager!

Here she is with Hanna on the carousel.  We spent her birthday at Six Flags, so she was well celebrated!  We had such a fun day.

I love you so much, sweet girl!  I can't wait to see what God has in store for your life!
